I've been asking the same teacher (my honors chemistry teacher) for so many recommendations for science programs I'm applying to. I've applied to only science programs. Is it a bad idea to ask my advisor (doesn't actually teach me anything) for a recommendation to a science summer program? If asking my advisor is a bad idea, how do I politely ask for my science teacher to write me many more recs?
