Eve and Gene Black Internship versus Research opportunity
I'm a Los Angeles area high school junior aspiring to be a physician. I applied for a few competitive summer programs and needed your opinions. If I'm selected for both Eve and Gene Black Medical unpaid summer internship program AND a summer research opportunity at LA Biomed (where they pay $2k), which one is better? Due to date conflicts, I can't do both. I already volunteer at a hospital but money is no objective for me. Getting a good experience is. From college selection point of view and future research or internship opportunity, does "research" have an edge over physician shadowing/internship?

Summer Science Program 2017

FYI: this year, SSP will be expanding into Purdue and will include a SSP Biochemistry curriculum.

Anywhere still accepting apps?
I realized I haven't really applied anywhere except Iowa SSTP. I'd like to have some backups and/or options. I know it's incredibly late, but does anyone know of any programs still accepting applications? Preferably in math or physical science (ideally astro, but beggers can't be choosers).
I'm a sophomore, rising junior, so that might place limitations. Thank you!!!

It seems like a great opportunity but I can't find any information on how difficult is to be accepted, and I'd also love to hear about past experiences. Thanks! RISD Pre-College
Hi!
I have read many reviews regarding RISD Pre-College and I have already been accepted. I saw that it is a lot of hard work and that will require many hours of work. However, I have not seen any reviews on how free time is spent. For example, what is the curfew? Are we allowed to do whatever when we do not have class? How is the dorming situation? Is it divided by genders or by major? Also, are rooms double? Can someone please answer my questions I am very worried about how my time there will be spent.
